Quality problems and field failures of products is one of the major concerns for senior management of most organizations. Structured problem solving workshop is designed to equip participants with a structured approach and investigation and problem solving tools.  Primary objective of the workshop is learning to solve recurring field problems using relatively simple graphical and some of the basic quality tools. The course is usually conducted with Minitab Software (or equivalent).

2.      Quality tools for each step, application examples and exercises
  • Defining the problem: Pareto Analysis, Trend Analysis, Control Charts, Stratification, Histograms,
  • Analyzing for root cause: Fishbone diagram, concentration diagram, Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA, Scatter Plots, Box Plots, Dot Plots, Multi Vari Charts, Introduction to Design of Experiments
  • Developing and implementing solution: Poka Yoke,  Piloting, Validating solution, Monitoring and tracking for effectiveness
3.   Case Studies to understand real life application of tools.
